The public organization "Dnipro-M" was created by an initiative group of active residents of the Mykhailivka village of the Novoaleksandriv rural territorial community of the Kherson region in 2017.

The main goal of the Organization's activity is to promote the protection and implementation of the rights and freedoms, social, economic, ecological and other interests of the residents of the village, community, and Ukraine. The main areas of activity of the Organization are:

• comprehensive support of the local community in the development and implementation of ideas in various fields of human activity;
• participation in the implementation of programs of socio-economic, sports, cultural development of the local community, other local programs;
• formation of experience of joint, political, business and humanitarian activities of local communities;
• involving the local community and other communities in building an open civil society in Ukraine;
• participation in the development and beautification of one's village and other territories;
• protection and assistance in resolving legitimate social, domestic, economic, creative, age-related, national-cultural, sports and other interests of the local community.                              Before the invasion of the Russian Federation, our organization was engaged in the development of sports activities in the village and community, especially football. We helped the local center of culture to improve its material and technical base. Together with local authorities and charitable organizations, we implemented a project to establish a sports and playground in the village of Mykhailivka for children and adults. During the occupation of our community, the activities of the organization were suspended, as almost all participants were evacuated, and communications were lost. After the de-occupation of the community in October 2022, we gradually recovered, restored ties, and are currently working on the prospect of restoration and development of our beautiful villages. We will restore the destroyed (damaged) infrastructure, restore and improve living conditions in the village, because our residents will definitely return home.
