Zolochiv city territorial community has a favorable geographical location - on the border of Lviv and Ternopil regions. The city of Zolochiv is the administrative center of the community. In the process of decentralization, the former Zolochiv district was expanded at the expense of Brodivskyi and Busskyi districts, while Zolochiv remained in the status of the district center. T

The population of the community is 49,200 people, including: 23,400 men, 25,800 women, 5,291 school-age children, and 8,443 pensioners.

The community specializes in agricultural production and timber harvesting with a relatively developed woodworking and food processing industry. The community is characterized by significant tourist and recreational potential.

Local self-government of the community is carried out by Zolochiv city council of Zolochiv district of Lviv region, consisting of the mayor of the council and 34 deputies. The executive committee consists of 30 people. The territory of the community is divided into 13 Starosty districts.

The community actively cooperates with foreign partner cities. The establishment of international cooperation contributes to the development of the community and strengthens the possibilities of cross-border cooperation.

The Zolochiv community actively cooperates with Ukrainian and international donor organizations and implements relevant projects. An important success in 2021 was the selection of the community to participate in the USAID HOVERLA project.

3,573 internally displaced persons were registered on the territory of the Zolochiv community. 1,562 of them are women, 1,270 - are children under 18 (of which 105 are students of general secondary education institutions, 12 are pupils of preschool education institutions), 624 are pensioners, 115 are disabled, and 2 are single parents.

The municipal non-profit enterprise "Zolochiv Central District Hospital" operates in the city of Zolochiv, with a capacity of 180 beds. Free medical assistance is provided to internally displaced persons for 8 months.
